Refund Policy (Courses / Session)
Course Delivery Entities
Our language courses covered under this policy are conducted by the following institutions under Daffodil Group:
- Daffodil IELTS Centre (DIC)
- Daffodil Japan IT (DJIT)
- Daffodil Institute of Language & Culture (DILC)
For the purpose of this policy, these institutions shall collectively be referred to as the "Authority," and all decisions regarding course administration, refunds, and policy implementation shall be made by the Authority.
A. Eligibility for Refund
Course fees are generally non-refundable. However, a refund may be granted under the following circumstances:
- If the Authority cancels a course or session for any reason, participants will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid.
- If the Authority reschedules or changes the published course start date and the participant is unable to attend the revised schedule, the participant may request a refund.
- If a refund is approved under Clause A(2) or under any other special consideration approved by the Authority, applicable administrative and other non-refundable charges may be deducted.
B. Non-Eligibility for Refund
Participants will not be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:
- Voluntary withdrawal from the course for any reason.
- Failure to attend scheduled classes, examinations, or course activities.
- Discontinuation of the course after commencement, regardless of the reason.
- Suspension, expulsion, or termination due to violation of course rules, policies, or disciplinary requirements.
- Failure to meet any academic, attendance, technical, visa, or personal requirements necessary to participate in the course.
C. Refund Amount
Where a refund is approved, the refund amount will be calculated after deducting all applicable non-refundable charges, including but not limited to:
- Administrative fees
- VAT/TAX
- Payment gateway or convenience fees
- Study materials and books
- Other third-party charges already incurred
Administrative Fees
- Physical/On-Campus Courses: BDT 3,000
- Online Courses: BDT 2,500
No administrative fee will be deducted if the Authority cancels the course.
D. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, participants must:
- Submit a written refund request to the Authority.
- Clearly state the reason for the refund request and provide any supporting documents, if applicable.
- The refund request will be reviewed within 30 working days of receiving all required information.
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 45 working days.
- Refunds will be issued through the original payment method or to a bank account designated by the participant, subject to verification requirements.
E. Policy Amendments
The Authority reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version of the policy shall supersede all previous versions.
