Refund Policy (Study Abroad)
A. Eligibility for Refund
A student may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
- If the fee is categorized as refundable.
- If the application is not processed due to internal issues at Admission.ac.
- If a student decides to discontinue the process, they must notify Admission.ac through the proper channels within 15 days of file opening.
- Service Charge / Placement Fees may be refundable only in the case of Visa Refusal, provided the student submits the official Visa Refusal Letter or related documents issued by the concerned authority. In such cases, 20% of the total service charge will be deducted as an administrative fee, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
B. Non-Eligibility for Refund
A student will not be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:
- File Opening Fee, Administrative Fee, Service Charge, and Placement Fees are strictly non-refundable, except as specified under Section A(4).
- Once the application has been accepted by the university (upon receiving a conditional or unconditional offer letter).
- If the applicant cancels the application due to personal reasons.
- If the application is rejected due to the applicant’s unlawful activities or intentions.
- If the application is rejected due to false, misleading, or fraudulent information provided in the documents.
- If the application is not processed or accepted due to incomplete documents or missing information.
- If the applicant fails to respond, cooperate, or pay university fees on time.
- No refunds will be provided for services already delivered, initiated, or rendered, including but not limited to: Application Fee, Registration Fees, Legalization, translations, Courier services, Third-party payments
C. Refund Amount
If eligible, the refund amount will be calculated as follows:
Refund = Total Paid Amount – (Administrative Fees + VAT/TAX + Foreign Transaction Fees + Other Applicable Charges)
Administrative Fees:
- Security Deposit: BDT 2,000
- Premium Security Deposit: BDT 5,000
- Service Charge / Placement Fees: 20% of actual fees (deducted in case of Visa Refusal refunds)
D. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, applicants must follow the steps below:
- Submit a written refund request to Admission.ac.
- Provide a valid reason for the refund request, along with any supporting documents (such as a visa refusal letter, if applicable).
- The refund request will be reviewed within 15 working days of receipt.
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 45 days of approval.
