The Climate Action Camp is a unique cross-cultural learning experience designed to raise awareness about environmental sustainability and empower young minds to become eco-warriors. Held across three of Nepal’s most scenic and culturally rich locations — Melamchi, Kathmandu, Nagarkot — this four-days camp blends immersive nature-based activities, practical eco-learning, cultural exposure, and leadership development. Land Our Future, Nepal & Admission.ac in collaboration with Association of the University of Asia and Pacific ( AUAP).

  • Location:  Melamchi, Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Nepal
  • Duration:  3 nights 4 Days ( 18-21 October 2025) 

🏞️ Multi-City Cultural Immersion

A unique journey beginning in Melamchi and extending to Kathmandu and Nagarkot, offering rich cultural, scenic, and local community experiences, all tied to environmental awareness.


🌱 Hands-On Eco Activities

Engage in real-life environmental practices through interactive sessions on solid waste management and air pollution. Take part in the Eco Warrior Challenge designed to cultivate environmental responsibility and practical problem-solving.


🏡 Sustainable Living Experience

Experience eco-friendly living firsthand with a stay at a traditional homestay in Melamchi. Enjoy a locally prepared welcome breakfast and participate in sustainable practices while immersed in a rural Nepali lifestyle.


💃 Cultural Heritage Exposure

Enjoy cultural performances and exchanges in Melamchi, followed by guided visits to iconic heritage sites such as Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Temple, and Patan Durbar Square, deepening your understanding of Nepal’s cultural roots and their connection to sustainability.


🌄 Nature-Based Exploration

Wake up to the sunrise at Nagarkot, known for its stunning Himalayan views, and explore Nepal’s natural beauty as part of your connection to the climate and ecological responsibility.


🌐 Cross-Cultural Learning & Networking

Participate in an interactive Exchange Program with Chelsea International School, sharing ideas and building friendships with Nepali youth to foster global dialogue and shared climate action goals.


🎓 Recognition & Certification

Celebrate your achievements with certificates recognizing your active participation and growth as a certified Eco Warrior, culminating in a formal ceremony at the Bangladesh Embassy in Kathmandu.s.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand key environmental challenges such as solid waste management and air pollution through hands-on activities and expert-led sessions.
  • Practice eco-friendly habits such as sustainable cooking, waste segregation, and mindful resource use, gaining practical skills for a low-impact lifestyle.
  • Engage in team-based eco challenges and collaborative activities designed to build leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience cultural exchange through homestays, local cuisine, and visits to culturally significant sites, fostering a deeper appreciation of diversity and global responsibility.

University & High School Students (Grade 8-12)

Registration Fees: 

  • Early Bird:  USD 300  (Register by July 15)
  • General :   USD 350( Register after  July 15 )
