Call for the application!!!

The University of Padua offers 62 scholarships to highly talented international students enrolling in English-taught Degree programs (A.Y. 2025/2026). The scholarship programme is highly selective. Only candidates showing the highest achievements and school/academic records may receive a scholarship. Successful scholars will be expected to fulfil an ambassadorial role and represent the University at several events.

Amount of scholarship: fee-waiver + €8,000 scholarship (gross amount) per each academic year. The only amount to be paid by beneficiary students for each year consists of an admission fee, corresponding to the regional tax and marca da bollo. The University of Padua also offers  Departmental Scholarships for international students studying in Italy for the academic year 2024-2025.

Duration: The maximum length of the Padua International Excellence Scholarship is as follows:

• Bachelor and Single-cycle degree:: 3 continuous years
• Master’s degree: 2 years

The Padua University International scholarships offer the following benefits:

• Tuition Fee waiver
• an annual scholarship worth €8,000.

Note: 

• Beneficiary students must only pay a yearly entry charge equal to the regional tax and Marca da Bollo.
• Upon fulfilling the merit conditions outlined in the call for applications, the scholarship will be awarded in two (2) installments of €4,000 (gross amount) each academic year.

 Eligibilities

Highly talented prospective international students from all over the world wishing to enroll in one of the University of Padua Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees completely held in English.

• Not have Italian citizenship (except for dual citizenship, including Italian).
• Possess a foreign secondary school diploma (for candidates seeking Bachelor’s or Single-cycle degrees) or a foreign Bachelor’s degree (for those seeking Master’s degrees) permitting entrance to the Italian University system.
• Live outside Italy.
• Apply to one or more of the English-taught degree programs at the University of Padua. Please keep in mind that you may apply to three different degree programs. (Please ensure that you meet the program requirements you are applying).
• Do not get any other scholarships – no other scholarship can be combined with this university.
