Seminar on Higher Study and Permanent Residency Pathways to Australia
Admission.ac, in collaboration with the DIU Study Abroad Forum, successfully organized a seminar titled "Higher Study and Permanent Residency Pathways to Australia" on September 16, 2025, at the Prof. Dr. Aminul Islam Seminar Hall, Daffodil International University (DIU).
The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Parvez Mahmud, Director of the Master of Sustainable Energy and Master of Sustainable Leadership programs at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Dr. Mahmud shared insights into academic opportunities, career prospects, and permanent residency pathways in Australia, especially in the fields of sustainability and leadership.
The seminar was graced by Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director of International Affairs at DIU, and Md. Ali Imran, Assistant Professor and Convener of the DIU Study Abroad Forum & Dr. Md. Adnan Rahman, Director, Office of Brand & Communication and Public Relations, Uttara University as special guests. Both expressed their enthusiasm for expanding global opportunities for DIU students and highlighted the importance of long-term academic planning for studying abroad.
The seminar aimed to inform and inspire students about international higher education options, particularly in Australia, and equip them with guidance on academic and immigration pathways.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to engage directly with the speaker and guests to clarify their concerns and aspirations regarding studying in Australia.
